Cabin Description
Welcome to The Guesthouse, a romantic retreat designed especially for honeymoons, anniversaries, and quiet escapes for two. Every part of The Guesthouse was thoughtfully chosen with comfort, craftsmanship, and connection in mind. Curved living spaces and windows capture views of the surrounding forest, while hand-cut travertine stone floors, carefully selected artwork, and warm natural textures give the cabin a distinctive style all its own.
The open living area invites you to slow down and enjoy your time together. Settle into the leather loveseat, watch a movie on the large-screen Smart TV with Bose Surround Sound, or relax beside the electric fireplace set within a beautiful mantle that is more than 100 years old. The open layout keeps the forest in view from nearly every area of the cabin, creating a peaceful connection between the indoor space and the natural surroundings.
The full kitchen is both beautiful and functional, with full-size appliances, island seating for two, and the cookware and baking essentials needed to prepare meals during your stay. A Keurig coffee maker is also provided for slow mornings at the cabin.
Beds and Baths
At the end of the day, unwind in the comfortable King bed while enjoying peaceful forest views and direct access to the patio. The spacious bathroom is one of the cabin’s most memorable features, with double vanity sinks, a private toilet room, an oversized walk-in shower with two showerheads and a rainfall feature, and a freestanding soaking tub positioned to take in the wooded view.
Outdoor Amenities
Step outside to the covered patio and enjoy the quiet setting along the National Forest. Two comfortable chairs face the outdoor electric fireplace, creating an inviting place for morning coffee or an evening together. Prepare dinner on the Traeger pellet grill, soak in the private hot tub at the edge of the patio or spend the night beside the fire pit (firewood provided) beneath a wide Hochatown sky.
When you arrive after dark, the glow of the elegant chandelier above the soaking tub offers a beautiful first glimpse of the care and attention found throughout the cabin.
Additional Conveniences
Thoughtful touches make every stay seamless and comfortable. Enjoy free Wi-Fi and two fireplaces. Located just minutes from Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, and local attractions, The Guesthouse combines adventure, relaxation, and memorable experiences for families and friends.
The Guesthouse offers more than a place to stay. It is a private, thoughtfully designed setting where you can breathe deeply, reconnect, and enjoy an unhurried escape together.

LynnDee (June 2026) Rating: ***** 5/5 – We had some last-minute changes for our anniversary weekend and selected this place. The location was easy to get to and very peaceful and while there were other houses around, it felt very private. The cabin was very clean and organized and had nice touches of coffee and snacks. I had forgotten some cotton Balls, and there were even some of those and other toiletries provided, which was very helpful. Would definitely recommend this place and come back again!
Jennifer (June 2026) Rating: ***** 5/5 – We had such an amazing stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful everything was. The cabin itself is so well-designed, cozy, and thoughtfully put together. The views were stunning, the sounds of nature were beautiful, and those combined made it feel like the perfect little escape.
One of our favorite parts was how tucked away the cabin felt. It gave us a sense of privacy and peace that you don’t always get, especially in areas with multiple cabins nearby.
The amenities were also great! You can tell a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. We would absolutely stay here again!

Matthew (Dec 2025) Rating: Airbnb ***** – This was the best place we’ve ever stayed through Airbnb — everything was fantastic! The property management truly thought of everything. The home was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and we were so impressed to walk in and find the Christmas trees already lit and the fireplace on. It felt incredibly warm and welcoming. The home featured high-end finishes, was quiet, and absolutely beautiful. Each morning, deer and other wildlife came right up near the house. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. It was peaceful and private, yet still close to all the activities in the area. We will definitely be back!
Angie (Dec 2025) Rating: ***** – This stay was even better than the pictures. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing and romantic, making it the perfect getaway. The amenities were abundant, with special touches like coffee, snack baskets, cocoa, and charming Christmas trees that made the experience feel extra cozy and welcoming. This has easily been one of my favorite stays in the Broken Bow/Hochatown area. Will definitely be back!

Nate & Nikki (June 2025) Rating: Vrbo 10/10 – Just taking a break! My husband and I just wanted to get away for a few days, and this was the perfect place! The house was beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. It has large windows that look out into the national forest, and we saw so many animals—mostly families of deer. We truly felt away from it all and were able to relax, unwind, and enjoy a bit of nature without even leaving the house.
Fireplaces are seasonally available from October through May 15.
Exterior surveillance cameras monitor the areas approaching the cabin entrances. Cameras are positioned away from private guest areas. During your stay, only the front-facing cameras are monitored to help ensure the cabin’s maximum occupancy is not exceeded.
